About Me
If you are looking for amazing results and a positive atmosphere you have come to the right place!
My name is Michael Katz and as long as I can remember, I have always had 2 huge passions in my life:
1. Sports and Fitness
2. Helping others
I feel so fortunate to be able to combine these 2 passions when I am with my clients.
The 2 categories of clientele I find especially rewarding are Back Pain and Senior Fitness.
I myself suffered a sports injury in my back and am extremely knowledgeable on what works and what doesn't to decrease pain. Having experienced it first hand, I can empathize with how you feel and am motivated to improve your quality of life.
My mother began a nonprofit organization to help Senior Citizens and I have been engrossed in assisting in that area ever since. Furthermore, seeing my grandmother struggle with Parkinson's, I learned at an early age the extreme importance of staying active
On the other end of the spectrum I love sport specific exercise programming as well as high intensity exercise.
Pushing my clients further than they thought possible in their sport or on their fitness path is extremely rewarding.
I have had great success with Golf Fitness specifically. I own and operate a driving range, golf school and fitness studio in the Philadelphia area specifically crafted to help you improve your golf game. This also serves as a small group fitness studio as well.
Whether your goal is sports performance, weight loss, injury recovery, or strength building, I hope to help you achieve your goals!

Client Success Story
I had a client who injured herself in a bad car accident. We worked tirelessly on our leg strength and hip mobility. Balance without her cane was also a big part of our training. When we were through, she was able to successfully walk down the aisle at her wedding.
It was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had thus far.

Beryl I.
I have been working with Mad Fit twice weekly for approximately six weeks- My goal is to grow stronger and I feel each time I exercise with Mike, he is just as dedicated as I am in accomplishing that. After several sessions, Mike also helped me realize that I wanted to focus on posture and body awareness. I already feel like I have made strides in both and find myself making self corrections throughout the day. Every workout has been different - challenging various muscles in unique ways. This variation however made me wonder how I would know that my strength sessions were effective, until one day in my yoga practice I was shocked that a position that had been completely unattainable, was now within my range. Since then I'm feeling even stronger and am eager to continue my fitness journey!
