About Me
Hi, my name is James and I am a AFPA certified personal trainer, who specializes in sports readiness and weight-loss. Prior to becoming a trainer I played collegiate football at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX until I suffered a career ending injury and had to leave the sport. After I left college I ended up gaining 70 lbs, tipping the scale at 286 lbs, once I decided to get fit and lose the extra weight I took it one step further and pushed myself to be more athletic than I was in college and ended up losing over 100 lbs. This weight loss journey is what inspired me to become a trainer so I can help others who are struggling with their weight and to show them that it isn't impossible to lose the weight even when it feels like it. Whatever help you need, whether its for sports or weight loss or just getting back in the gym, I can help you!
What to Expect
Structured stretching and warm up.
Multiple intervals of calisthenics and resistance training based on clients experience level.
Challenge- I end every workout with a short, yet effect challenge that will test clients and allow them to get maximal work in before the end of the session.
Cool down - post stretching.
